Ivory, Chambray and Plaid

|
When I took these pictures last weekend, it was sunny, but boy was it was chilly!  It was slightly windy so I was glad I had on my beanie and scarf; they kept me warm during the photo shoot.  Speaking of the beanie and scarf, they were Christmas presents from my Aunt.  I love them and they will be on repeat the rest of this Winter!
I take my photos for my blog during the weekends because I work during the week, so I hope for rain-free days during that time!  By the time I get home from work, it’s too dark to take photos.  I not only manage Classy Yet Trendy, but I’m my own photographer too.  I’m not a professiona photographer, still learning “manual” mode.  I’ve gotten better at it since I first started the blog.  I guess I’m a “Jane Of All Trades” when it comes to blogging: writer, producer, director, programmer and photorapher!  My hat’s off to all bloggers, because it’s hard work managing a blog, but the payoff is expressing your creativity and seeing it all come together.
I bought this ivory sweater from Loft during the recent 50% off sale.  The chambray shirt is a “tall fit” from Old Navy.  It’s a longer length to wear with sweaters and vests and it’s so comfortable!

  1. Love the look! I really wish I had an ivory sweater like yours to wear over my chambray. Yours is perfect 🙂

I'm really impressed with your photography. Do you set your camera on a tripod and then set the timer? However you do it is impressive because they turn out really well. My husband takes my pictures for me and I do them on the weekends, too. No time during the week and then it rained yesterday when I was hoping to take pictures. I'm hoping to find a miracle solution so I can link up this week!

  2. Love this layered look. I can't seem to manage layering under a sweater well. I love your black jeans too. Those have been my go to this winter. Props to you for being your own photographer! Blogging is so much fun, but also a lot of work.
