How To Look Stylish With a Belly Pooch: Create Flattering & Effortless Outfits That Build Confidence Using The A.G.E. Method

Do you have a belly pooch? Do your clothes fit differently than they did when you were younger? Do you feel frumpy in your outfits and even change outfits a few times because you just don’t feel comfortable? I myself have had a belly pooch for several years. After I was pregnant my body changed and clothes fit differently. My body really changed in my 40’s and I struggled to find clothes that fit around my middle. Because I had to go up a size for my bottoms to fit around the waist, they were frumpy in the legs. It was a constant struggle and my confidence dropped dramatically! I’m in my 50’s now and I have finally cracked the code on dressing my body to accentuate my curves, conceal my belly pooch, be comfortable in what I wear and in turn, I have gained my confidence back!

I put everything I have learned over the past few years as being a capsule wardrobe stylist in my NEW guide, “The Belly Pooch Style Guide – Create Flattering & Effortless Outfits That Build Confidence Using The A.G.E. Methodโ„ข๏ธ“. The Belly Pooch Style Guide is a comprehensive guide to using the clothes, shoes and accessories to
look polished, be comfortable and feel confident in the body you have NOW! I’m so excited to share everything I know with you all, so that you can look your best and get your confidence back!

Here’s the truth: your body isn’t the problem.
Your clothes just aren’t working with it.

Here’s the honest truth of my own observation as a fashion stylist about most of the clothes on the market today…They are not made for the average woman past her 30’s, especially those of us who have reached midlife! We are real women who have had children, our hormones have shifted, digestion changes resulting in bloating and thus, our middle starts to hold weight. It’s completely natural. We just need to change the way we think about dressing our bodies.

I developed the A.G.E. Methodโ„ข๏ธ to
conceal a belly pooch and reveal your style!

The A.G.E. Methodโ„ข๏ธ

1. ATTENTION – Divert the eye to the top section of your body (face, neck and/or torso) – statement jewelry, scarf or bandana, v-neck tops, collar detail, colorful layering piece.ย

2. GLIDE – Wear styles that conceal your belly and glides over midsection – avoid styles that squeeze your middle or fit tightly.

3. ELONGATE – Wear bottoms that elongate your legs and balance your proportions using flare leg, bootcut or ankle style jeans or pants, skirts, dresses and/or statement shoes.

Who Is The Belly Pooch Style Guide For?

  • You’re 30+ and your midsection has changed, but your style has not.
  • Your clothes don’t fit the way they used to and are uncomfortable.
  • You’re tired of hiding in baggy clothes.
  • Your outfits don’t look right on your body.
  • You would rather shop smarter than shop more or waste hard-earned money.
  • You want to look good NOW, not “after I lose 15 pounds”

This guide is different than the capsule wardrobe guides in The Capsule Wardrobe Store. This guide is a wardrobe foundation guide that shows what styles to wear to conceal a belly pooch. Instead of links to specific pieces to buy, I provide links to shop the retailers and brands that I recommend for belly pooch friendly styles.

Here are a few outfits I put together using The A.G.E. Methodโ„ข๏ธ so I look polished, put together and have confidence:
