1. WHAT IS AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM?
Affiliate programs offer web site owners and bloggers a way to sell another company’s products or services and receive a commission when a sale occurs. Affiliate programs use cookies (website cookies, not edible cookies) to track where a link comes from. If someone makes a purchase and the link is traced to your blog or website then you get a share of the sale price.
2. WHAT IS E-JUNKIE?
E-junkie is a software company located in Arizona that provides bloggers and website owners with Shopping Cart and Buy Now buttons to sell digital or physical goods on their website. They also manage the affiliate program for Classy Yet Trendy. Click here to read their about page.
3. DO I NEED AN AFFILIATE LINKS FOR EACH E-BOOK?
Yes. Since each e-book is different, you will need an affiliate link for each e-book you sell. You can find the links and banners on each e-book’s affiliate page.
4. WHAT IF SOMEONE CLICKS ON MY AFFILIATE LINK BUT DOESN’T BUY YOUR EBOOK RIGHT AWAY?
The cookie in your affiliate link lasts for six months. That means someone can click on the link, leave the page, and then come back in five months and make a purchase, and you’ll still get credit for the sale!
5. DO I HAVE TO USE THE TEXT IN THE ORIGINAL AFFILIATE LINK THAT IS GENERATED?
No. You can replace the text in the link after you paste it into your blog or website. You can even use an image provided on the E-Book Affiliates Page if you’d like.
6. DO I NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT?
Yes. I use PayPal (and only PayPal) to issue payments.
7. HOW MUCH WILL I BE PAID?
Basically by helping me get the word out about a Capsule Wardrobe E-Book, you can earn a commission on the sale of the e-book. Simply click set up an account and get your own unique affiliate link for each e-Book offered. THEN if you recommend the e-book and someone clicks on your affiliate link, you’ll earn an easy 25% of the sale!!*
8. WHEN DO I GET PAID?
I issue payments by the 15th of the month after the month that the sale occurred. For instance, if you had an affiliate sale on June 5th, you’d get a payment issued to your PayPal by the 15th of the following month.
9. HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I MAKE?
You can make as much as you want! For every sale of an e-book you make a 25% commission. Feel free to promote the e-book(s) as much as you want, on all your social channels, on Pinterest, etc.
