Stitch Fix Review #3: May 2015
What’s better than getting new clothes? Having a personal stylist select clothes for you, then ship them directly to your doorstep! When the box arrives and you open it, it’s like Christmas morning, like opening a present! Stitch Fix is an excellent clothes styling service I recommend!
How does Stitch Fix work? You take an in-depth survey about your sizes, your style and pricing preferences. Then, a personal styling service sends you 5 items to try once a month. Each box comes with cards with styling suggestions for every piece in the shipment, plus a letter from your stylist. When you receive the shipment, you try on the items, select which ones you want, then ship back the ones you don’t want. The fee for the service is $20 a month, which includes free shipping and free returns. What’s best is the fee is deducted from the total of the items you want to keep! If you want to keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!
This is my review of shipment #3:
Leapona Gem Statement Necklace – cost to keep $34
I had been wanting a mint and crystal necklace. This one was perfect, so I kept it.
Verdict: Kept
Black Grid Flare Skirt – cost to keep (I stored the card with other papers due to getting ready to move. I don’t remember the price)
I liked the pattern of the skirt, but it didn’t fit well so I returned it.
Verdict: Returned
Light Tan Capri Pants – cost to keep (I stored the card with other papers due to getting ready to move. I don’t remember the price)
I didn’t like the color nor fit of the pants.
Verdict: Returned
White Sleeveless & Black Trim Top – cost to keep (I stored the card with other papers due to getting ready to move. I don’t remember the price)
If this top hadn’t been see-through I would have kept it.
Verdict: Returned
Textured Floral Knit Fit & Flare Dress – cost to keep (I stored the card with other papers due to getting ready to move. I don’t remember the price)
This dress is a dark brown color with an ivory floral design. It’s really pretty in person but I didn’t like the fit.
Verdict: Returned

Have you tried Stitch Fix? I really like Stitch Fix. The pieces are well made, the styling service is top-notch and the customer service is great. I wasn’t too pleased with this fix as I only kept the necklace, so I went on Pinterest and changed up some of my favorites styles. I look forward to seeing what’s in my next month’s Stitch Fix!
Here’s a tip to get your best Stitch Fix: If you’re on Pinterest, setup a board called “Stitch Fix Inspiration”. Go to Stitch Fix’s Pinterest board and pin their photos on your “Stitch Fix Inspiration” board. They have boards for different styles if you’re unsure of which ones to choose, like Classic Chic, Romantic, Classic, Preppy, etc. You can also pin other photos from the internet here as well. This will let you stylist know what your favorite style is.
You can click on Stitch Fix to receive your 1st shipment!

Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday, Leanne!
Fun, fun, FUN!
I am itching to get another Fix! You got some great options!
Oh my goodness, I received that exact same dress and returned it for the same reason. It was the second fit and flare dress Stitch Fix sent me and I don't like that style. It doesn't fit my body type very well. I have now requested that Stitch Fix never send me another Fit and Flare dress again. It was actually sad to send the dress back, because I loved the fabric…just not the style of dress. I love the necklace you kept, as for everything else, I see why you sent it back. It's sad the top was see-through, because that is cute!
That's a really pretty necklace! I love seeing what people get in these boxes!
That necklace is just gorgeous Leanne. I would have kept it too.

Hmmmm, I'm so torn because Stitch Fix seems so expensive from the prices I've seen others post. Is it worth it?

I was going to try Stitch Fix for just one month, but this is my 3rd month. I like to see what I receive each month!

This was my least favorite box, but I've added more pins on my Pinterest Stitch Fix Inspiration board, so maybe I'll receive some different pieces in June.

Erica, some of the pieces are more expensive, but the quality is great. I'm a budget shopper, so I only buy what I really like and can wear with multiple pieces in my wardrobe.

Fix Stitch is such a good idea. That necklace is really cute. The grid skirt looks like it would have been really cute. Too bad it didn't fit right. 🙁 Thanks for sharing and thanks for linking up!! 🙂
