Trendy Wednesday Link-up #41: Target & Nordstrom Rack Haul

See what I purchased this weekend at Target & Nordstrom Rack!

After weeks of cleaning out, packing and moving out, I needed to do some shopping…retail therapy!  When I want to do some serious shopping and checking out the latest trends, I head to Birmingham for all the best stores.  It’s only about 45 minutes away, not too far when I want to shop and eat at stores and restaurants we don’t have where I live.
To start off, I went to World Market to look for a cabinet to go in our den.  I didn’t see what I was looking for, but I did find a baking mat and dough container to make macarons!  I haven’t made macarons yet, but I’m anxious to bake some now!

I stopped at Target next to see what Fall trends they had.  I also wanted to see the Adam Lippes collection in person. What did you all buy from the collection?  I bought a pair of the flats and the black and white plaid bucket bag online.
Here was my #OOTD from my shopping trip:
Outfit Details:
black striped top: Banana Republic version
utility vest: Nordstrom Rack version
jeans: Paige
necklace: Gorjana Pave Bar Necklace c/o Rocksbox
leopard loafer shoes: J. Crew Factory
Here’s what I bought from Target:
camo tee: Target
This would look good with a denim jacket or cardigan.

I think this marled mock neck tunic sweater is new, because I can’t find it on Target online.  I plan on wearing this with gray jeans or black leggings.

sleeveless top: Target in “Crystal Pink”
I wore this top today with my burgandy cardigan.  Photo is on Instagram!
Here’s what I didn’t buy at Target:
striped long sleeve tee: Target
I liked this top, but I limited myself to buying 3 items from Target, because I knew I was going to Nordstrom Rack next!
Here’s what I bought from Nordstrom Rack:
I saw this sweater hanging on the rack and it’s what I’ve been looking for since last Fall.  It’s sold out online, but did find a similar style at Gap (Here).

Nordstrom Hudson “Krista” Super Skinny (I’m wearing them in the previous photo and the photo below)

I can wear this one by itself or with a cardigan.
Here’s what I didn’t buy from Nordstrom Rack:
I didn’t like the sleeves on this top.  I like this one at Nordstrom much better!

Attention: All bloggers participating in the Trendy Wednesday Link-Up!!!

I am considering creating a “Trendy Wednesday Style Inspiration” Pinterest Board for everyone that participates in the link-up.  I would add your link-up image to the Pinterest board each time you add your blog post to the Trendy Wednesday linkup.

There are several link-ups (not fashion-related) that Pins every link-up post to their Link-up Pinterest Board.  I think this was a great idea, and thought how about starting a Pinterest Board for the Fashion linkup?

The Style Inspiration Pinterest Board would be great to:

1.  Give your blog exposure
2.  Create traffic for your blog
3.  Help you gain followers
Just respond “Yes” (if you think it’s a great idea) or “No” (if you don’t want it) in the Comments section at the end of this post.

The two featured bloggers from last week’s linkup are:

Simply Sarah Brown
Sarah’s gingham shirt, skirt and statement necklace look fabulous together!

Samantha’s outfit is perfect for Fall!
