I’ve been enjoying wearing everything in my Winter capsule wardrobe.  I’ve found that I’ve been wearing more pieces than others, like these black jeans and this fleece vest.  If you’re a reader of my blog, then you’ll know how many times I’ve worn these black jeans.  They are the DL1961 Florence Instasculpt Skinny Jeans and are just the right length.  If you can invest in a great pair of jeans, then I recommend these jeans.  They are the best pair of black jeans I have owned.  They will be certainly be in my future capsule wardrobes to come!  They are a normal length jean, so when I wear ankle boots, like the Marc Fisher Chelsea boots above, I can roll them up just a bit so they fit my boots.  If I’m going to wear my Sam Edelman tall black boots, then I’ll leave them unrolled and tuck them into the boot.  The gray mockneck sweater (similar) I’m wearing above is from Nordstrom last year.  It’s a marled heather material and goes nicely with everything in my capsule wardrobe.

This light gray Patagonia Los Gatos Fleece Vest is new to my capsule wardrobe this Winter.  The Patagonia website has more color choices in the Los Gatos Fleece Vest.  My daughter saw a white one at a local boutique and she loved it when she tried it on in the store.  I tried one on too, just to see how it fit and knew I wanted one for my capsule wardrobe.  I ordered mine in the light gray color from Nordstrom.  I plan on putting in next year’s Winter capsule wardrobe as well.

I bought these Marc Fisher Chelsea black ankle boots a few weeks ago.  I wanted a dressier black ankle boot with a low heel and read good reviews on them.  I’ve worn them a few times and love them!  I’ve been wanting a leopard bag forever and found this Michael Kors Mini Mercer Crossbody.  It’s bit of a smaller bag, but it’s the perfect size for either using it as a handbag or a crossbody.  Currently, it’s on sale for 55% off!  A larger version of this bag is available…the Michael Kors leopard tote, which is 12″ wide and is on sale too!

  7. I should probably just bite the bullet and get one of those Patagonia vests. They look so cozy. My kids are crazy about that brand. I love the leopard with the gray and black. I’m always leery of pairing those, so thanks for the encouragement! XO

  12. So cute! I have that Patagonia vest in the dark grey and khaki colors and wear them all the time! It doesn’t get very cold here in Florida, so a vest is perfect for our winter weather. xoxo
