  1. I have the Halogen sweater from years past. It is soft and pretty but pills terribly and lasts for 2 seasons with regular wear. The quality isn’t there but it looks great.

    Thank you for sharing about the sweater. Do you wash it on cold water inside out and lay flat to dry? I found that helps in making my sweaters last and wear them twice before washing them. I also have a sweater comb to remove pills from the fabric.

  3. I do those things too.

    Most of the pills are side/underarm and come from typical wear. It is a trade off because I can’t afford top grade cashmere. I do not see myself “investing” in a $300 sweater. But that’s just me.
