My Favorite Fall Uniform

Fall has officially started and the cooler temps have made it here where I live, yea! The humidity is gone and there’s a slight chill in the air, so that means Fall is here and it’s sweater weather!
My favorite fall uniform is a sweater, jeans and ankle boots! This combination is so easy to put together, whether you are wearing neutrals or colors. Just grab a sweater, a pair of your favorite jeans, boots and add a bag and some simple jewelry and your outfit is complete. Everything I’m wearing is in my own Fall capsule wardrobe and I look forward to styling these pieces in different ways throughout the season!

The sweater I’m wearing is the Madewell Henley Sweater. It’s a style that is a mix of a henley button with the texture of a sweater. Whatever style of sweater you are looking for, Nordstrom has several sweaters to choose from this season!

These are my most favorite pair of jeans, the AG Mari Slim Straight Jeans. Being that they are a slim-straight style, they have a better fit than a regular straight style. Since jeans have an inseam of 29″ and a 13″ leg opening, they are just long enough to wear over boots and also look great with flats and pumps! These jeans also have a bit of stretch, are soft to the touch and hold their shape all day, which makes them a favorite!
Nordstrom carries several brands and styles of bags. This is the Coach Pebble Leather Bag in the “taupe” color. I bought this bag in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and it coordinates with so many of my outfits! The leather is so luscious and soft and I enjoy carrying it every time, plus the taupe color looks great in any season! This bag comes in other colors too. Ankle boots are very popular and Nordstrom has lots of ankle boots to choose from! I’m wearing the Nisolo Everyday Chelsea Boots in the “brandy” color. The brandy color has a red/brown tone, making them a beautiful color to wear in the Fall and Winter! They come in several other colors too. They are very comfortable to walk in! I sized up a half size to a 9.5, so I could wear socks with them. These are a chelsea-style boot and you can pull them on or off easily.
