Le Tote Shipment #1 Review
Le Tote is a clothing and accessories service that lets your expand your wardrobe for a monthly fee. You tell them your body measurements, select the styles of clothes you like and they send you five items to try out. You can go directly to their website by clicking HERE.
There are two other well-known clothing and accessories services similar to Le Tote (Golden Tote and Stitch Fix). I have not tried them yet, but plan to.
So, you want to know how Le Tote works? You signup for their service, which you can cancel anytime, no committments. You enter your body measurements and rate their clothes online by simply clicking if you like them. It’s important to click as many items as you like, because that’s how they know what styles you like. For a $49 fee that covers a month, they will send you a box filled with three clothing items, two jewelry items, a welcome card, a “Le Tote” black tote bag, a tape measure and a prepaid return envelope. You can try them on and even wear the clothes to try them out (because they do not come with tags attached). If you want to purchase any of the items, just send back what you don’t like in the prepaid return envelope and they will bill you for the item(s) you keep. As soon as you let them know you are keeping all the items, or they have received any of the items, they will send out another shipment.
What I like about Le Tote:
- There’s no committments. You can cancel anytime. You can even put your account on hold from month to month.
- Unlimited number of totes a month.
- Free shipping both ways.
- Rating System for Totes so the stylists know what fits, what doesn’t, what you like and what you don’t
- You can wear the items, no need to wash, that’s included in the monthly fee (just be sure and don’t spill anything on them or they don’t get damaged. I haven’t done that so I don’t know how that would work).
What I don’t like about Le Tote:
- So far, I can’t find anything I don’t like about Le Tote.
Items I Received:
Item #1
BCBGeneration Crosby Crewneck Sweater
Color: Navy and Cream
Size: M
Cotton/Acrylic
Machine Washable
I liked this sweater, although it wasn’t exactly what I was wanting. The colors and design are pretty, but it wasn’t a sweater I just had to have. I returned this one.
I paired it with my dark denim skinny jeans and brown suede booties.
Item #2
Daniel Rainn Gina Monochrome Blouse
Color: black and white print with black sleeves
Size: M
Polyester
Machine Washable
I really liked this top. It fit well and felt comfortable. It was just the right length. I almost kept it, but since it was my first shipment, I wanted to see if there was something I liked better in the second shipment. (You can request items to be resent if you regret sending them back).
I paired the top with my black skinny jeans and black moto jacket.
Item #3
JOA Patriotic Top
Color: navy and white
Size: M
Polyester
Dry Clean
I liked the colors and style of the top, but thought it didn’t look well on me. Plus, it’s a Dry Clean item and I’d rather it be machine washable. So, I returned this one.
Items #4 & #5
Adia K Cameo Earrings
These are really pretty in person. They are just the right size too.
I kept them, not for me, but for my Mom as a Christmas gift (Shh! Don’t tell her!)
Gazel Panthea Necklace
I didn’t like this necklace at all. It’s a copper color and too dainty for my style.
I sent this one back.
So far, I like Le Tote and want to try the next shipment!
That’s all for Shipment #1!
When I receive Shipment #2, I’ll do a review on that one as well!
This was an independent review of Le Tote. All opinions are my own.
I was not paid for this review, although if you click on the Le Tote link you will be taken directly to their site and
Le Tote will apply a small credit to my account if you sign up for a tote.

Wow I have never heard of them before! I love all of the pieces you got, especially that third top and the jewelry! Thank you so much for joining J and myself {www.2catsandchloe.com} for the Celebrate Southern Linkup! I’m pinning your post to our official Celebrate Southern Pin Board now! Cheers!
I haven’t heard of them before, but what a neat concept!
I haven't heard of then until now. What fun items! I love that sweater. Thanks for sharing (I'm going to check them out now!) and thanks for joining Celebrate Southern this week!
