Fall Layering Essentials (Trendy Wednesday #143)

I love Fall because I love layering clothes!  Whether it’s wearing a cardigan over a tee, a leather jacket over a lightweight sweater or a puffer vest over a plaid shirt, it’s my favorite season for outfits.  Layers can add color and texture to what would normally be a plain outfit.  They not only add color and texture, but keeps us warm too when the weather gets chilly!

I’ve picked a few favorite layering essentials for Fall.  They provide just enough warmth without having to wear a big bulky coat.  A black leather jacket is the most common type of leather jacket, but you might consider a cognac or burgundy color too.  You can see many leather jackets to choose from here.  And, cardigans!  I’ve never seen a cardigan I just didn’t love!  A beige cardigan and grey cardigan are must-have essentials in your wardrobe.  You’ll wear those colors almost year-round!  This burgundy cardigan can mix well with several colors.  This open pocket cardigan in “fir ever” is a gorgeous shade of green for Fall!  And, this faux fur vest is in a lovely blush color!
