Spring is here and I’m excited to show you 8 outfits from my own Spring capsule wardrobe. My capsule wardrobe includes a mix of neutral color closet staples, plus a few trending pieces. I shared this Video Reel on my Instagram showing how I styled several pieces to make 8 outfits.

For size reference, my height is 5’9″ and I weigh approximately 170 lbs. and have an hourglass figure. For tops, I typically wear a size Medium (10) or Large (12), depending on the brand and fit of the top (for slim-fit, I usually wear a Large). For bottoms, my normal size is a 10 or 12 (depending on the brand and fit of the bottom) OR a 30/31 waist, a 10-inch high rise fits my waist the best and I wear a 28 -30 inch inseam length. My shoe size is 9 medium or 40EU.

Outfit #1

I absolutely LOVE these Quince Ultra Stretch Ponte Bootcut Pants (size Large, 30 inch inseam) (also comes in a Straight Leg style)! I have been calling them “Magical Pants” because they fit just right everywhere on your butt and legs, they feel like yoga pants, but have front and back faux pockets so they look like regular pants. They are similar to the Spanx pants but are a fraction of the price!!! Quince kindly gifted me the Navy color in these pants and I loved them so much that I bought another pair in black!

This season I added this L.L. Bean Square Neck Tee in “white” (size Large). When I ordered it and it arrived, I loved the fit so much that I then ordered the black and navy colors! The tee is not see through and you can wear it dressy or casual. I layered my Able Merly Denim Jacket in the “clean wash” color (size Large). I have owned this denim jacket for about 3 years now and it is still my most favorite one out there! These Cap Toe Slingback Flats in “Tan” (size 8.5, I sized down a half size) are a Target find this Spring and they are very comfy.

Outfit #2

I swapped out the black pants for these Old Navy High Waist Pixie Straight Leg Pants in “Mocha Taffy” (size 12-Tall for a 31 inch inseam length). I love Old Navy’s Pixie Pants and last year I wore the Pixie Flares. I used to wear the Pixie Skinny Pants when I was working full-time at my career job several years ago. This Spring I added the straight leg style in a light tan color and they fit perfectly, plus they are only around $30! I’m also wearing the L.L. Bean Square Neck Tee in “white” (size Large), Able Merly Denim Jacket in the “clean wash” color (size Large) and the Target Cap Toe Slingback Flats in “Tan” (size 8.5, I sized down a half size).

Outfit #3

For this outfit, I swapped the white tee, denim jacket and cap toe flats for my J. Crew Factory Blue Stripe Button-Down Shirt in “Banker Blue” (size Large) and these Schutz Arissa Woven Flats (size 9) (also love these very similar Madewell Anelise Flats). I added this J. Crew Belt in “Pecan” (size Large) and my Demellier London Vancouver Bag in “Deep Toffee”.

Outfit #4

If you wanted to wear the J. Crew Factory Blue Stripe Button-Down Shirt in “Banker Blue” (shown in the previous outfit), casual, you can swap out the tan pants and ballet flats with jeans, trending suede trim sneakers and a trench coat. I’m wearing my Mother Tripper High Rise Ankle Bootcut Jeans in “Limited Edition” color (also like these Old Navy Light Wash Wow Flare Jeans), my J. Crew Field Sneakers in “Ivory Metallic Multi” (size 9, fits true to size) and my J. Crew Icon Trench in “Vintage Khaki” (size 12).

In these next few outfits, I’m styling my favorite wide leg jeans, the Talbots Dark Wash Wide Leg Jeans in “Clara Wash” (size 12)! They are super comfy, since they are made of soft denim and are stretchy too! For this outfit, I went with a simple, yet elevated look by wearing my J. Crew Short Sleeve Sweater (old) (similar style here and here). I added my comfy Vivaia Margot Black Flats (size 9, fits true to size) and my Radley London Hanley Close Crossbody Bag).

Outfit #6

Here I’m wearing the same Talbots Dark Wash Wide Leg Jeans in “Clara Wash” (size 12), but I changed the top, shoes and bag. This Nautica Striped Sweater in “Navy” is new to my closet; I found it on Amazon for only $34! It’s a closet staple and is all cotton, lightweight and perfect for the Spring. My Target Mules in “Off White” (sized down a half size to 8.5). are also new to my closet. They have a memory foam insole and are very comfy. I completed the outfit with jewelry and my Naghedi Nomad Hobo Bag in “Ecru”. I wore this bag so much last year and I love the color and woven texture. This bag is a lower price and this one on Amazon is a budget buy.

Outfit #7

I love the LC Lauren Conrad line at Kohl’s, lots of lovely styles at budget prices! This LC Lauren Conrad Puff Sleeve Top in “Ticking Stripe Cool” (size Medium) is so pretty and is currently on sale! I’m wearing it with the Talbots Dark Wash Wide Leg Jeans in “Clara Wash” (size 12), Target Mules in “Off White” (sized down a half size to 8.5) and my Naghedi Nomad Hobo Bag in “Ecru” (this bag is a lower price and this one on Amazon is a budget buy).

Outfit #8

This outfit is a slight variation from the one above. Since it is still a bit cool outside in the mornings and evenings, I added this Liverpool Los Angeles Trucker Jacket in “Biscuit Tan” (size Large). It is so soft with the cotton/rayon/spandex blend! I swapped out the mules with my Frye Ivy Sneakers in “white” (sized up to a 9.5). These sneakers are super comfy and I have worn them so much!
