Peach Top and Frayed Hem Jeans (Trendy Wednesday #128)

Two weeks ago I created my summer capsule wardrobe. I knew I wanted to have navy blue as my base color. Last summer my base color was black, so this summer I wanted to change the color scheme. I followed my capsule wardrobe procedure, that I share in this blog post, How To Start a Capsule Wardrobe: A 5-Step Visual Guide. I went with a light blue as one accent color, but I was undecided about my other accent color. I almost went with coral, until I saw this peach hi-lo tee (similar) at a local boutique a few weeks ago. The peach color is so pretty, I knew I had to add peach as the other accent color.
Did this peach tee pass my “go with at least 3 other items in my capsule wardrobe” question? I can wear it with my frayed hem jeans, denim shorts, denim skirt and my white skirt. The boutique where I bought my peach tee sells several clothing brands and recently started selling Kendra Scott jewelry! I bought this elaina bracelet that day as well.

I was out shopping today and noticed cute fall clothes at Gap. Have you seen yet? Drapey tee’s and sleeveless tops in great colors. Lots of pieces for transitioning and layering. Also colored denim and super cute denim skirt that will be more suited for fall then light washed summer skirt.

There’s not a Gap close to me, but I have seen a few items on their site that are worthy to be included in the capsule wardrobe e-books! Gap is one of my favorite stores for capsule wardrobes!
