instagram favorites december

It’s time for another Instagram Roundup for the month of December!  I always love doing this type of post because I get to share with you all my favorite outfits I wore, in case some of you aren’t on Instagram.  I also like to get fashion inspiration from users I follow.  It’s a great way to stay on the up-and-up on what everyone is wearing!

This olive cardigan a new addition to my wardrobe.  It’s from Express and I love it!  It’s thicker than the traditional cardigan, so it feels like I’m wearing a cozy blanket all day, so comfortable.

I wore this outfit to see the “Muttcracker” play in Birmingham, Alabama.  It’s performed annually by the Birmingham Ballet Company.  The Nutcracker runs for two weeks every year.  The “Muttcracker” is always performed on the debut night.  It is the Nutcracker ballet, but includes rescued dogs in all the scenes.  It benefits the Birmingham Humane Society.  My aunt and uncle are dog rescue “parents”.  They took my husband, daughter and me to see the play.  It was superb!

This was my dining table setting for Christmas: burlap 72″ table runner, antique white ironstone pitcher, candles and greenery, atop an white ironstone platter.  I decided to decorate simple, but elegant this year, mainly red and white with greenery accents.  In the background is my french-style curio cabinet, painted with Annie Sloan French Linen Chaulk Paint.  Did you spot the homemade white chocolate peppermint bark on the dining table?  It was delicious!
