I love wearing simple-styled clothes and adding eye-catching accessories! This striped top and these navy cropped pants are in my Spring capsule wardrobe. I purchased the top at H&M a couple of months ago. I had been looking for a blue striped top to add to my capsule wardrobe and when I saw this one I knew it would be perfect. It passed my “can I wear it with at least three other items” question. I always ask myself that question as a way to shop with purpose and to shop wisely. A few years ago before I started using a capsule wardrobe, if I saw something I liked, I bought it. I would get it home and it might coordinate with one other item in my closet. Usually it was too bold of a pattern, too trendy or the fabric wasn’t the best quality. Now, I shop wisely. Now, when I do go shopping, I buy only what I need for my capsule wardrobe. I have saved a lot of money just by using a capsule wardrobe every season!
I have had these pants for a few years. They are from Old Navy, are so comfortable and are the perfect shade of navy blue. I think this makes the 3rd spring I’ve worn them. I’ve had this handbag for about 3 years now. It was one of my first Kate Spade bags and it looks just as new as the day I bought it. This exact style is sold out, but this season’s current handbag style is similar.
