Navy and Cognac Brown (Trendy Wednesday #122)
Outfit Details:
navy dolman tee (crewneck tee, swing tee)
slim boyfriend jeans
necklace set
utility jacket (similar)
medium tote bag
slide-in sandals
This outfit was what I wore to the movies the other night. My daughter met several of her friends from school there and a few of us parents went too. Before the movie started, my husband and I heard them all giggling, laughing at just about anything. It took us back to when we were kids just having fun being with our friends. Oh, to be a kid again!
I knew it would be cool in the movie theater, as it always is, so I brought my utility jacket (similar) in case I got cold. I was super comfy in my slim boyfriend jeans and navy tee (similar). I added my double-strap sandals from Old Navy and my Medium Transport Tote from Madewell. When I tried on these sandals at Old Navy last weekend I was surprised at how comfortable they are. They have a bit of a cushion in the sole which makes them soft and easy to walk in. I upgraded my faux tote that I’ve had for a few years to Madewell’s medium transport tote. I like their regular transport tote, but it’s a little too big for me. The medium size tote is just perfect!
I’ve been working on the Stay At Home Mom capsule wardrobe e-book Summer edition and it’s almost ready! Just a few more days and it will be in the Capsule Wardrobe e-Book Store. Then, I’ll be releasing the Workwear e-book next. I’ll be adding another e-Book to the series…a kidswear capsule wardrobe e-book! Stay tuned!

What a perfect example of comfortable, casual and yet cute and put together. Nicely done!
That is a perfect casual look especially for seeing the movies!
Such a simple look but perfect for a day of shopping or errand running! Navy and cognac always work so well together and I love the layering you did with the necklaces. Thanks for hosting!
Oh those days when everything was just the funniest thing ever!! Great outfit to hit the movies, loving those bf jeans. I hate when I find those bf jeans that are just too baggy in a bad way. Those fit just right!
