Instagram Lately
Life has been so busy lately! If you have been following my blog recently, you’ll know that I have been taking my daughter to her doctor appointments and treatments. She’s doing well and is feeling good. We have gotten adjusted to things a bit and I have been more active on my Instagram account, posting outfits I’ve been wearing!
I’ve also been working on a new capsule wardrobe eBook! It’s not a seasonal eBook, but I think it is one you all will love! It’s coming soon! Stay tuned for more details.
Do you want to create you own capsule wardrobe, but don’t know where to start?
Currently in the Capsule Wardrobe eBook Store, The Essential Capsule Closet is a complete capsule wardrobe guide that will show you how to easily create your own! This eBook will show you how to use Core Closet Essentials to create outfits, spanning multiple seasons, thus saving you money by not having to buy more clothes! Included in the eBook are: 20 premade color palettes, 30 outfit ideas using core closet essentials, a guide to coordinating your outfits, shoes and accessories, worksheets and MORE!
Here are a few outfit photos I’ve shared on Instagram lately, all from my Summer capsule wardrobe:
I wore this outfit on the way to Disney World last month. I love wearing my Core Closet Essentials, especially while traveling, as they are comfortable, yet still look good! I bought this navy tee this year to replace mine that was worn. I found my AG denim shorts on clearance this past Spring, which were marked half price, then an additional 40% off that!
Outfit Details:
navy v-neck tee (similar)
denim shorts (love these!)
silver Elisa necklace
silver Ott bracelet
soho disco crossbody (budget option under $25!)
brown strap sandals (similar)
Here’s a #flatlay of one of my outfits:
I love wearing this “Ciao” blush tee! The sizes on this one are limited, but I love this pineapple graphic tee and this pineapple pocket tee. My chambray shorts (exact) and whipstiched sandals (exact style, similar color) are from last year.

I bought this Georgia Tee Midweight Linen last year from the sustainable and ethical clothing brand, Elizabeth Suzann. I love wearing this top and receive several compliments every time I wear it!

This Threads & Flowers Layer Tassel Necklace is new! The colors in the necklace go with so many clothes in my Summer capsule wardrobe! My peplum top (other colors available) and this rattan circle crossbody bag is new this season. My skinny crop jeans and white slip-on mules are from last season.

Can you believe both my Ruffle Chambray Button-Up Blouse and High-Rise Blush Midi Denim Shorts were both under $42.00? They are both in my Summer capsule wardrobe and I’ve already worn them with several other items in my capsule wardrobe. My blush pink bandana is from last year, but they have it this year in the “sheer pink multi” color. I added my Miller sandals in the “Makeup” color to complete the look.

Some lovely outfits here! I hope all is working out well with your daughter xx
I am so happy for you all!
Much love and support from Holland????????????
Hi! Finding your blog has been life changing for me – I bought the Spring and Summer essential ebooks and they really helped me refine what was in my closet. I love your style and ideas! My one question for you – have you thought about body-shape specific recommendations? While I loved so many of the tops in your recent ebooks I’m a pear shape and totally can’t do peplum tops and flowy tops do nothing for my shape and/or just make me look bigger. I’ve taken your colors/patterns/concepts and tailored to my shape where needed but this may be a new element you could consider. Keep it up! As a mom of 2, you’re making one element of my life much easier! Thank you!
Hurray! I’m glad to hear she is doing well and feeling good! That’s even better than a new ebook!
I love to help your blog gives me and keeping them focused less chaotic closet. Love and light to your daughter.. I have a one in 1 million grandson who went through the fire but is fantastic now and a perfect happy four year old xo
Thank you Laurie!
Thank you Henny!
Thank you Stephanie! I have thought about body-shape specific recommendations, but haven’t approached it yet. May be another subject here on the blog in the future!
Thank you Jessica!
Thank you Wendie!
Thank you for letting us know how your daughter is doing – and I’m so glad she is handling the treatments well. I hope they are working to reduce the size of the tumor.
Thank you Alison!
I would also love a pear specific ebook. I love the items you post about but so many will not work with my hips unfortunately. Love a lot of the styling and color combos you have.
I would buy a ebook that was for body types. I am also a pear.

So glad y our daughter is doing well. I can’t wait to see the new e book you are working on. I’m hop ing it’s all about accessorize because accessories can make one outfit turn into many different looks. I’m sure whatever it’s about it will be a hit.
Leanne – Thanks so much for the work you do on this blog and your ebooks. I bought the summer french minimalist ebook and love it. I’ve been having so much fun finding just the right pieces that look good for my age (62). I use your ideas and adapt them. I can’t wear shorty shorts any more and I never looked good in them anyway 🙂 This is helping deter my impulsive spending, which is a godsend. Thanks again for your work and sending positive thoughts for your daughter’s healing. Can’t wait to see what you have for the Nordstrom anniversary sale and fall capsules.
