It’s Sweater Season With Express

With it being the Fall season, it’s officially sweater season! And, with Winter just around the corner, I don’t know about you, but the sweaters in my closet will be on heavy rotation! This Fall I have already enjoyed wearing sweaters nearly everyday. Sweaters always look beautiful in an outfit and are so easy to mix and match with other pieces in your closet.
When I am adding essential basics to my closet, I look for high quality, but yet budget-friendly clothes and Express is just the store for that! Express has some gorgeous sweaters this season, as well as jeans. Express is also known for their workwear pieces like blazers, pants, skirts and dresses. And, Express makes it easy to shop online in the convenience of your home!
I am in the process of creating my Winter capsule wardrobe and needed a cream color sweater and a pair of dark wash jeans to include in it. Prior to this year, I wore a lot of tees, shirts and cardigans in the Winter seasons, but this year I have several sweaters in my capsule. I ordered these High Waisted Dark Wash Supersoft Skinny Jeans and the denim is just that, very soft. I prefer to wear high waisted skinny jeans as they fit my body frame the best. I absolutely love these jeans and highly recommend them! These jeans are definitely going to be in my Winter capsule wardrobe!
I ordered three sweaters to try on and see which one I wanted to add to my Winter capsule wardrobe. The only problem is when I received the sweaters and tried them on, I fell in love with all three sweaters!!! They all fit so well and the neutral colors would look great with practically any bottom. These sweaters come in other colors too! All three sweaters don’t itch at all and they are super soft! Which sweaters did I order? The Ribbed Dolman Sleeve Sweater in the “Swan” color, the Cozy Mock Neck Sweater in the “Oatmeal” color and the Ribbed Asymmetrical Tunic Sweater in the “Sandshell” color.
You can really see the stitching detail of the sweaters in the photo below! The top sweater is Ribbed Dolman Sleeve Sweater, the middle one is the Cozy Mock Neck Sweater and the bottom on is the Ribbed Asymmetrical Tunic Sweater.
First up, is the Ribbed Asymmetrical Tunic Sweater in the “Sandshell” color. When I put on this sweater for the first time, I thought “ahhhh, this sweater is soft!” It feels so cozy, yet it looks like an elevated sweater with the ribbing detail, contrasting ribbed neckline, dolman sleeves and asymmetrical hem. I have it untucked in the first photo, then a front tuck in the closeup photo below. I’m also wearing the High Waisted Dark Wash Supersoft Skinny Jeans, which offset the cream color of the sweater.

The next sweater I am wearing is the Cozy Mock Neck Sweater in the “Oatmeal” color. Oh my gosh ya’ll, the “Cozy” in the name of this sweater is spot on. This sweater feels SO good! The mock neck is loose and isn’t tight at all. I’m also wearing the High Waisted Dark Wash Supersoft Skinny Jeans. See a closeup of this sweater below!

The third sweater I’m wearing is the Ribbed Dolman Sleeve Sweater in the “Swan” color. This sweater is similar to the ribbed sweater in the first photo, but it has a straight contrasting ribbed hem and neckline and straight ribbed sleeves. This sweater looks beautiful when you wear it untucked or you can do a front tuck like I’m wearing in the closeup photo below. I’m also wearing the High Waisted Dark Wash Supersoft Skinny Jeans.
