Try-On Session Reviews: Nordstrom

For a couple of weeks, I have been planning my Spring capsule wardrobe. Spring is my most favorite season to wear outfits and I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for warmer temps and all things Spring! I really love the colors of clothes for Spring, especially blues and greens. I ordered a few pieces from Nordstrom and when I received them, I tried them on and snapped some photos to share with you all and show how they fit.
Nordstrom is one of my most favorite stores and look there first when I need anything for my wardrobe! I especially love all the name brands that Nordstrom carries (see their extensive Brands List here), like AG, Madewell, UGG and Tory Burch, just to name a few. They even carry their own Nordstrom-Made Brands, which are unique styles which you can buy only at Nordstrom! I have bought many pieces of their Nordstrom-Made Brands, like Caslon, Halogen, Treasure & Bond and my most-favorite athleisure styles from Zella. Nordstrom also has free shipping and free returns so there is no risk to shop there!

For size reference, I am 5’9″ in height and have an hourglass body shape. For tops, I typically wear a size Medium, but size up to a Large sometimes, depending on the brand and style of the top. For bottoms, my normal size is a size 10 / 30 waist. My shoe size is a 9 medium width. For outerwear, I wear mostly a size Large, but if it is an oversized style I will size down to a Medium.
I saw this Treasure & Bond Floral Peasant Top in the “Ivory Bali Floral” color (size Medium) and thought the pattern was so pretty I had to order it and try it on! It comes in a few other colors too! It is flowy and lightweight and the material is so soft. I had to order a couple of pairs of Wit & Wisdom jeans, one of my most favorite brand of jeans! These are the Wit & Wisdom Sky Rise Raw Hem Jeans (size 10). They are a straight fit jean and the denim is soft and stretchy, but holds its shape! These shoes are the Lucky Brand Dornet Flats in the “Latte” color (size 9). They are very comfortable and fit true to size and the neutral color will coordinate well with all your outfits. They feature a square toe design that looks dressy, while still being a casual flat. I’m also wearing my Nordstrom brand Silver CZ Pendant Necklace. I also have the gold color and wear them both several times a week!

This jacket so pretty! It is the Caslon Organic Cotton Soft Jacket in the “Green Sorrel” color (size Medium), which is beautiful for Spring! It also comes in a “navy peacoat” color and a “blue vallarta” color. I had trouble deciding which color to order, but I went with this gorgeous green color! This jacket fits so well and is SO SOFT (like in the description) and is flowy and not stiff at all. Ya’ll will LOVE this jacket! This Gibsonlook Floral Pleated Sleeve Top (size Medium) looks so feminine and the soft color is so pretty! It has puff sleeves and a round neckline. The material is lightweight making it a perfect top for Spring. I absolutely LOVE these Wit & Wisdom Raw Hem Slim Straight Jeans (size 10) and will definitely be keeping these! I like how these jeans are straight and relaxed feeling, but with a slightly slim fit. I will be including these jeans in my Spring capsule wardrobe! I’m also wearing the Lucky Brand Dornet Flats in the “Latte” color (size 9).

I can’t pass up a good cardigan and this Caslon Open Front Cardigan in the “beige oatmeal light heather” color (size Medium) makes the mark! It comes in 3 other colors, is soft and cozy and I love the waffle texture. The neutral beigey color will coordinate with so many outfits. You can wear this cardigan over your tops on those crisp Spring days! I’m wearing this cardigan with the Gibsonlook Floral Pleated Sleeve Top, Wit & Wisdom Raw Hem Slim Straight Jeans and the Lucky Brand Dornet Flats in the “Latte” color.

I like this Gibsonlook Cotton Gauze Top in the “natural” color (size Medium), which is a soft bone color. The material is lightweight and is a henley style with elbow length sleeves. This top also comes in a peach color and black color. I’m wearing it with the Wit & Wisdom Raw Hem Slim Straight Jeans, Lucky Brand Dornet Flats in the “Latte” color and my Nordstrom brand Silver CZ Pendant Necklace.

This Wit & Wisdom Navy Floral Ruffle Sleeve Top (size Large) is absolutely beautiful! The photo below doesn’t do this top justice, as it is so feminine and the sleeve detail is beautiful. It is a button-down shirt with collar. It is a flowy fabric and feels so comfortable wearing it. I’m wearing this top with the Wit & Wisdom Raw Hem Slim Straight Jeans, Lucky Brand Dornet Flats and my Nordstrom brand Silver CZ Pendant Necklace.
