Spring Classic Outfit Mix and Match: 9 Pieces = 27 Outfits
I don’t know about you, but Spring is my favorite season for outfits! The clothes are light and airy and look great with jackets and cardigans.
I took 9 classic, neutral pieces from my own Spring capsule wardrobe to create a mini capsule wardrobe! You can see everything in my Spring capsule wardrobe here. These 9 pieces are great to wear on their own in several outfits, plus you can add layers like a trench coat, cardigan and a utility jacket and make even more outfits!

Here are the 9 pieces…
THE TOPS (left to right):
Blue striped shirt – I bought this shirt last year and love the thin, blue stripes and soft fabric. Sizes are limited on my exact shirt, but here is a similar one and this one too.
Striped short sleeve tee – I have this exact tee in the navy stripes (shown above) for several years now. I loved it so much that I bought it in the black stripes last year. I’m using the navy striped one since my Spring capsule wardrobe has a navy base color.
Chambray shirt (similar) – My exact chambray shirt shown above is from J. Crew three years ago. I linked a very similar chambray shirt.
THE BOTTOMS (left to right):
Light wash blue jeans – These jeans are new to my closet and I love denim texture and color. They are budget-priced too!
White crop flare jeans – I have had these jeans for a couple of years and love how soft they are. I also like these white jeans!
Beige chino pants – I bought these pants a few weeks ago when I was putting together my Spring capsule. I love how they fit and the beige color tone goes with everything.
THE SHOES (left to right):
Beige ballet flats (similar) – A neutral color pair of flats are a classic piece that never goes out of style. Sizes are limited on my exact ballet flats but I these ballet flats are similar.
Cognac mules – I love how the cognac color on these mules goes with so many items in my closet! I also have these mules in the black color.
Navy pointy flats – This is my second pair of Rothy’s (my other pair is the “Big Cat” pattern) and I have been wearing these shoes a lot. I sized up a half size and the fit great! Use this link to get $20 off your first order of Rothy’s!
