How To Style Two Must-Have Boots: Lug Sole Boots and Classic Ankle Boots

Thank you to Cole Haan and LTK for sponsoring this post. As always, all selections and opinions are my own.

When Cole Haan reached out to me and offered to send a couple of items from their New Arrivals, I was excited! From the previous collaboration with them in this post, I already know their excellent quality, beautiful styles of all their items and comfort of their shoes. I couldn’t wait to add some boots to my wardrobe!

For size reference, my height is 5’9″ and I weigh approximately 170 lbs. and have an hourglass figure. For tops, I typically wear a size Medium (10) or Large (12), depending on the brand and fit of the top (for slim-fit, I usually wear a Large). For bottoms, my normal size is a 10 or 12 (depending on the brand and fit of the bottom) OR a 30/31 waist, a 10-inch high rise fits my waist the best and a 28 inch inseam falls at my ankle. My shoe size is 9 medium or 40EU.

One of my most favorite neutral colors to wear in shoes is tan since it is a rich, earthy color. I was excited to see these Hampshire Buckle Leather Booties in “British Tan” and I knew that I needed these boots for my wardrobe! These boots are beautiful online in the photos, but they are even more beautiful in person! I don’t think I have ever worn a pair of boots this comfortable before. You can choose the British Tan color or two other colors, Black or Dark Latte Suede. The Hampshire Buckle Leather Booties are a classic style boot that will go with all your outfits. They have a low heel that is so easy to walk in, have a soft fabric lining and a rubber sole that is quiet and comfortable. You will see me wearing these boots on repeat this fall and winter!

As I was looking at their New Arrivals, I spotted these Greenwich Booties in “Black Leather”, which are a waterproof leather boot with a lug sole, that are not only on trend for the winter, but are great for walking in the snow. I wanted a pair of lug sole boots and missed out, so I knew I had to have these boots! They are easy to get on and off with the stretch side panels and pull tab at the back of the boots. They are SO comfy with the fabric lining and cushioned Grandfoam outsole. They also come in a beautiful “Golden Toffee” color. I cannot wait to wear these boots this fall and winter!

How To Style The Hampshire Buckle Booties

There are SO MANY ways to style these Hampshire Buckle Leather Booties (sized up to a 9.5 to wear with socks), where do I even begin? They are a classic style boot with a rich, tan color that goes with so many outfits! I styled them by wearing this Amazon Aware White Tank (Amazon’s own Climate-Friendly made brand) (size Large), my blazer is from Loft last year / similar plaid blazer HERE and HERE and AG Mari Slim Straight Jeans (size 31) / similar. My bag is the Portland Leather Medium Zipper Tote in “Honey” with the added coordinating Tassel in “Cognac”. The jewelry I’m wearing are my new Pavoi Gold Hoop Earrings and my Pavoi Bezel Gold Necklace I’ve had for a couple of years.

I am wearing the boots styled as a Smart Casual outfit. You can also wear these booties casually with jeans and a sweater, elevated-casual with pants, a blouse and a cardigan and also with a casual midi dress.

How To Style The Greenwich Lug Sole Boots

I love the lug sole on these Greenwich Booties (sized up a half size to 9.5 to wear with socks)! The sole is a bit more thick than regular boots, but not overly chunky like many log soles out there. In my opinion, they are the perfect lug sole boot and I can’t wait to wear them all winter to keep my feet toasty warm! If you live in an area that has a lot of snow during the winter, these will be perfect for you, since they are waterproof. I styled these boots with my new J. Crew Ella Long Sweater Blazer in “Hthr Birch” (runs large, I sized down to a Medium), Ann Taylor Mock Neck Sweater Shell in “black” (size Large; also have this in the “winter white” and cafe au lait” colors), Madewell Kick Out Crop Jeans in “black rinse wash” (size 30) and Parisa Wang Madison Medium Top Handle Bag in “Taupe”. The jewelry I’m wearing are my new Pavoi Gold Hoop Earrings and my Pavoi Bezel Gold Necklace I’ve had for a couple of years.

I’m wearing these Greenwich Booties with jeans and a coatigan, but you can also wear them with casually with jeans, a tee and a cardigan and athleisure style with leggings and a sweatshirt.
