Wide leg jeans and a striped long sleeve tee are essential wardrobe staples. You can create many outfits around these basics in your closet. You can wear them by adding layers and shoes creating different looks. To get the most out of our wardrobes, we need to have several wardrobe staples in neutral colors. In today’s post, I am sharing how to add different layers and shoes to a white tee and black pants to create ten outfits. I am using this striped long sleeve tee and these wide leg trouser jeans!

The striped dark navy long sleeve tee (you can also use this black striped long sleeve tee). You can use this short sleeve indigo striped tee if you prefer.

For the wide leg jeans, I am using these Wide Leg Trouser Jeans, but you can also use these Old Navy Wide Leg Jeans (budget) or these Gap Wide Leg Jeans (budget) if you prefer. If you want a slight wide leg look but more fitted, try these Gap bootcut jeans! If you live in a warm climate where you have mild fall temps, a sweater blazer is perfect for you. And, for a warmer fall climate, just swap the long sleeve striped tee with a short sleeve tee.
