If Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper Had A Capsule Wardrobe

 

I’m a fan of the HGTV show, Fixer Upper.  Do you watch the show too?  We remodeled our kitchen recently using a few ideas from one of their shows.  As, I was watching some episodes of Fixer Upper the other day, I noticed a few outfits that Joanna Gaines was wearing.  Her outfits consisted of essentials like a chambray shirt, olive utility jacket, riding boots, tees, jeans, mainly solid color clothes.  I’ve got to give her kudos…her style is casual and yet she looks put together all the time.  That’s when I saw a preview today of the Magnolia Journal magazine issue #2, with one of the articles being “Joanna’s Capsule Wardrobe”.  Popsugar has a first look at the upcoming Spring issue…

Joanna Gaines has a capsule wardrobe!  The clothes she wears looks like all the right pieces for a capsule wardrobe.  I include several items in my capsule wardrobe similar to the ones she has worn in photos.   In this “Fall Wardrobe Essentials” article on Magnolia Market, Joanna talks about her sense of style.  She talks about how she fills her closet with clothes she can wear many times.

The outfit she’s wearing below includes a chambray shirt, utility jacket, black leggings or jeans and brown riding boots and a tote.  A chambray shirt goes with so many other things.  It’s a versatile top that can be dressed up or worn casually.  Joanna wears this outfit perfectly.
