Thank you so much! Great teacher clothes – love the leopard cardigan! Your capsule wardrobe method is working for me…I only need to buy the tops becasue I already purchased the pants from the Spring/Core Essentials wardrobes!
Hi, Leanne. I really like your capsule wardrobes; however, some of the colors don’t work for me. I’m a winter and look best in jewel tones. How do I switch out the rust and olive for colors that will coordinate with each other and the rest of the capsule? Thanks.
What about masks?? Particularly this fall, I expect that many teachers will be needing masks! Please include advice on how to stylishly incorporate facemasks into the teacher capsule wardrobe.
Laura,
I have a blog post from a few days ago with several masks that will coordinate with your outfits: https://classyyettrendy.com/2020/08/face-masks-to-coordinate-with-your-outfits-adult-and-kid.html/
Laura,
For the rust and olive items, you can find substitutes that you like better at shopstyle.com.
I’ve set up a mini version, as I emailed you, until I can fully drop dress size. I had grey work trousers & casual grey & olive ones.
Found a few tops that are similar to your selections from Autumn & Spring teacher’s blog post. Have blue blazer so bought half price white one & a grey one. Looked at SaHM ones & pulled some similar casual pieces.
Sorted by shoes & bags- treated myself to comfy new pair for school.
Then a repeat with my eldest with the Teen wardrobe- she’s worn school uniform & sports kit forever- now she’s starting 6th form college (16-18 years old) she needed “proper” clothes! Set her a capsule to start her off!
Love this- thanks.

Jo,
That’s great that you started a capsule wardrobe for both you and your daughter!
I just looked at the post from Oct 30 with 9 pieces. I love that idea.
Out of my price range at almost $600 for 3 pairs of pants, but the idea is great. Maybe I have some pieces in my wardrobe that are similar.
Thanks for the great work.
