6 Outfits From My Winter 2023 Classic Neutral Capsule Wardrobe

A few days ago I posted My 27-Piece Winter 2023 Classic Neutral Capsule Wardrobe In My Closet on the blog. Every season I share everything that I have in my own capsule and post it here on the blog. I usually create all the season capsule wardrobes in the Capsule Wardrobe Store, then I share what it is my own capsule. Many of you love this capsule I shared on Instagram and I received LOTS of positive feedback on that post!

In this post, I am sharing 6 outfit ideas which include clothes and shoes from My 27-Piece Winter 2023 Classic Neutral Capsule Wardrobe In My Closet. I also include my bags and jewelry that I wear on rotation.

OUTFIT 1

Outfit Details:

Cashmere Fisherman Sweater in “ivory” c/o – This cashmere sweater is so soft and is less than $100!

Long Sweater Blazer Coat in “hthr birch” – I love the taupe color of this lightweight coat! Our winters are mostly mild, where I live, so some days I can wear a lightweight coat. Sizes are limited, but I found this similar one on Amazon in several colors.

Black Slim-Straight Jeans in “opulent black” – AG Mari is my most favorite style of jeans that fit my hourglass shape. They are a slim-straight style which is more fitted that a regular straight style jean.

Similar Boots in “true black” (Mine are Sam Edelman) – I LOVE Sam Edelman shoes and these are so comfortable. I bought my exact boots last year on sale. They are sold out, but I linked a very similar pair.

Coach Willow Shoulder Bag in “Brass/Black” – This an excellent daily carry bag that is perfect in my opinion! There are 3 compartments to keep everything organized: outside compartment with a turnlock closure, middle zippered one and an inside one with a magnetic closure. There is a shoulder strap and a crossbody strap that are both removable and adjustable. It is a polished pebble leather bag, which is very durable. I highly recommend this bag!

Gold Hoop Earrings – I love the Pavoi brand since their jewelry is budget-friendly, classic styles and well made, plus they are on Amazon with fast shipping.

OUTFIT 2

Outfit Details:

V-neck Cocoon Cardigan in “grey dark heather” – I love everything about this cardigan: the softness, medium-gray color tone and casual style. I just added this cardigan to my closet!

Long Sleeve Ribbed Tee in “black” – Here is another piece I added to my closet this season. They have in other colors as well.

Light Wash Slim-Straight Jeans in “lakeshore wash” – I have had these jeans for a couple of years; mine are the raw hem, but this year’s is a normal hem. I love the vintage look of these jeans! They have just a bit of stretch and are comfortable.

Adidas Sambas Leather/Suede Sneakers in “white/black” – These sneakers are very much on-trend! They are a leather sneaker, which is warm in the winter.

Rebecca Minkoff Quilted Crossbody Bag in “Black” – This bag is very similar to the Chanel Boy Bag but is MUCH less expensive.

Gold Halo Earrings – Love wearing these earrings on repeat!

Gold Bezel Pendant Necklace – One of my favorite necklaces I wear on rotation.

OUTFIT 3

Outfit Details:

Striped Cashmere Sweater in “camel with black stripes” c/o – Love the cool color tone of this sweater. It is a classic style that looks great with jeans, pants and skirts!

Ecru Slim-Straight Jeans in “natural” exact / Similar Jeans in “natural denim” color – I bought these jeans earlier this year and they go with so many tops in my closet . I like to wear ecru color jeans in the Fall and Winter, instead of white jeans.

Gray Knitted Belted Coat – Long coats are very much in style. My exact coat shown above is from Mango last year. This year’s style is the same, but a medium-gray tone.

Black Horsebit Loafers in “black leather” / similar black loafers in “black leather” – I have had my Gucci loafers for several years and they are still very comfortable. Sam Edelman’s Loraine Bit Loafers are very similar with a much lower price point. I wear these no-show socks from Amazon with my loafers in the winter.

Toteme T-Lock Shoulder Bag in “black” – I love the elegant style of this bag and the leather feels like butter.

Quince Pearl Hoop Earrings – Love wearing these classic style earrings!

OUTFIT 4

Outfit Details:

Mongolian Cashmere Sweater in “oatmeal” c/o – This sweater is only $50, so soft and is SO worth it! One of my favorite sweaters!

Talbots Chambray Shirt  – My exact shirt is the same style, similar color from last year. The darker chambray color looks great in the fall and winter seasons. One of my favorite shirts to wear is a chambray shirt, since it is so versatile. In this outfit, I would wear it underneath the sweater. You could also add a coat over the sweater for extra warmth.

Medium Wash Slim-Straight Jeans – I included another pair of AG Mari jeans in my winter capsule. I have had these jeans for a couple of years and similar to the black pair, the medium-wash blue style is my most favorite!

Casual Leather White Sneakers – I love these Frye sneakers! I have been wearing them on repeat. They are very comfortable to walk in all day and since they are leather they are warm too.

Tory Burch Perry Tote in “Clam Shell” – Love the color tone of this tote!

Barbour Tartan Scarf in “Rosewood” – I’m a huge fan of anything Barbour and this scarf is gorgeous in person! This would make a great Christmas present!

OUTFIT 5

Outfit Details:

Dark Wash Straight Jeans in “kinsley” – These Paige Gemma jeans are new in my closet. They are a very dark wash and look great with light color tops.

Sam Edelman Bit Loafers in “cedarwood” – This is probably my most favorite pair of loafers. The color is so versatile and goes with so many outfits. They are very comfy too! I wear these no-show socks from Amazon with my loafers in the winter.

Outfit Details:

J. Crew Crewneck Cashmere Sweater in “hthr ash” – I bought this sweater last year and I love the classic style! It is very comfy and warm.

Black Wash Straight Jeans in “ash black” – The Paige Cindy jeans fit like a glove and have a bit of stretch that moves with you all day. The color is ash black but they look more like a charcoal gray color. I added these to my closet last year.

Barbour Polarquilt Fleece-lined Jacket in “black” – I loved my navy color jacket so much that I bought it in black! This jacket is very warm with the polarquilt fleece lining. It has two snap front pockets, plus two handwarmer side pockets. It has both a zip front and a snap front and a storm flap at the collar to keep out the cold. It is a longer-length jacket with a double-vented rear snap-close flaps.
