Instagram Lately: March/April 2020

When it was time to switch out my capsule wardrobe in my closet, I created my Spring 2020 Capsule Wardrobe, which had a Navy base color and included neutral colors, plus blush, yellow and olive accent colors.
I created this outfit with the button-front jersey tee “yellow floral” color, ab-solution skinny pants “optic white” color, olive utility jacket “deep olive green” color (same brand, different style) and these Gemma cognac mules, all from my my Spring 2020 Capsule Wardrobe.

I wore this outfit one day while working at home and it was so comfortable! These gray skinnies are stretchy (similar color), this chambray shirt (exact) is so soft and roomy and these cognac mules (exact) are comfy.

I wore this button-front jersey tee “yellow floral” color, ab-solution skinny pants “optic white” color and these Minnie ballet flats in “royal tan”. Ya’ll know I love wearing Kendra Scott jewelry, so I add this Elisa Necklace in “bronze veined turquoise” and these Dani drop earrings in “bronzed veined turquoise” to bring out the blue color of the flowers in my top.

Because we were all urged to stay home, I knew I wouldn’t be needing to use the dressy pieces and all the layers from my Spring capsule, so I created my Spring Neutral Capsule Wardrobe for my closet. It has all neutral colors and comfortable pieces to wear while working at home.
I created this Flatlay using this Madewell chambray shirt (exact) (similar Madewell tie front style / similar light wash tie front style), the ab-solution skinny pants “optic white” color and these Pons Avarcas sandals in the “tan” color (LOVE LOVE these!) from my neutral capsule.

I wore my favorite white v-neck tee (exact) (comes in many colors), my high rise black jeans (exact) and my leopard loafers (exact). It was cool weather that day while working at home, so I added my beige Loft cardigan (sold out), love this budget-friendly cardigan!

Aren’t these Wedge Esapdrille Sandals gorgeous?! This pair is the “light brown” color. They are also available in 4 other colors! This nearly exact pair, also from DSW, comes in a beautiful mauve pink color and taupe color.
This White Eyelet Top is one the tops I reviewed in this Loft and Target Try-On Session blog post. I added my Black Wide-Leg Chinos (this year’s style) and these Leopard Espadrille Sandals. My husband and I got out of the house long enough to pick up our take-out order to support a local restaurant, so I got to carry my new Destin Messenger Bag in the “blush” color. It’s a vegan leather bag, is so soft and is a gorgeous blush color! I wore my Kailyn Gold Drop Earrings in “abalone shell”.

I enjoy this group of Instagram posts. I follow you on Instagram but do not miss any of your Facebook posts or your emails. You have been a game changer for me. I purchases the Spring E Book. However with Stay at Home order have not had opportunity to wear but will in coming days. Thank you for all you do.
What color is sole society bag? Is it “canyon”? I like it a lot but want to make sure I order the color you pictured.

It’s the “blush” color. I checked and it looks like the blush color is out of stock, but check back because they often restock colors.
I love the flat lays that you do. For some reason, it helps me see the whole outfit better and I can envision how I can recreate it with my own clothing. I enjoy following you on instagram!
I love the look of both the long sleeve and short sleeve Chambray, so I ordered the tops but it just doesn’t look right on me. I like the slightly oversized look, but I can’t make it look good. Am I overthinking this or is it only right on certain body types? For reference, I’m 5’6″ 135 lbs and have kinda a smaller frame up top.

I like to wear my long sleeve Chambray shirt with the sleeves rolled up and either leave it untucked or do a slight front tuck in my jeans or pants. For the Short sleeve, I like to wear it with a slight front tuck also.
