You can wear a white button-down shirt with nearly anything! It can be dressed up and you can wear it to work or it can be paired with a pair of jeans and sneakers to wear on the weekend.

A crisp, white shirt is a classic and timeless piece that looks great with a pair of jeans. I dressed the Sophia Cozy Cotton White Button-Down Shirt and black wash jeans a bit by wearing these pointy d’Orsay black flats and this NeoNoe bucket bag. I did a partial front tuck to keep the outfit relaxed, but you could also tuck in the shirt and add a belt, like this leopard belt.

Here is an outfit you can wear to work, going out shopping or out for lunch. I’m wearing these black skinny jeans, but you could also wear something different, like these black pants or this pleated skirt. I added this camel sweater blazer, which looks like a cross between a cardigan and a blazer. It is so soft and makes an outfit look polished and chic. My exact leopard d’orsay flats are nearly sold out, but I think these Jillie leopard flats are so pretty! If you need a pair of leopard pumps, these leopard block heel pumps have a gorgeous pattern and are currently 40% off!

Here is a casual way to wear the Sophia Cozy Cotton White Button-Down Shirt, with this denim jacket (I love mine and it is only $30!), black faux leather leggings and white casual sneakers. You could add this Rebecca Minkoff woven chain faux suede backpack or this leopard pattern transport tote (love this pattern!). Here is an elevated casual outfit featuring a plaid blazer. I’m wearing my Sophia Cozy Cotton White Button-Down Shirt with these dark wash skinny jeans and these black leather chelsea booties (love these booties for less). I added my plaid blazer I bought from Gap last year (sold out). Here is an Everlane blazer that is very similar, here is a gorgeous herringbone plaid blazer and I love this plaid blazer that’s only $34.99! You could add one of these Chanel Classic Flap inspired bags: Kira chevron shoulder bag or black quilted shoulder bag (I have this one in white and love it, only $48!).

Grayson also sent me the Ava Lyocell White Button-Down Shirt to try. When I tried it on, I honestly thought I was wearing a silk shirt, but it is actually made of lyocell, which is a sustainable fabric! On the Grayson site, they mention, “Our signature style, The Hero is in a silk like fabric that has a matte finish and is washable. It has a flowy look that takes you from the start of your day to evening sophistication.” I’ve always wanted a white silk shirt, but didn’t want to bother with the hassel of taking it to the dry cleaners or having to hand wash it everytime.
Here’s a casual outfit with the Ava Lyocell White Button-Down Shirt. I love the way the shirt drapes and it is easy to tuck in your pants! I’m wearing a size 3 in the shirt. I’m wearing the shirt with my Levi’s 501 Jeans and my exact Linnie black mules. I added my Kira Chevron Black Tote that I love (very similar black chevron tote for $40!).
