Wit & Wisdom Jeans Try-On Reviews

One of my most favorite brands of jeans, Wit & Wisdom, sold exclusively at Nordstrom, was generous to send a few pairs of their jeans included in the sale for me to review, plus a lovely top (not in the sale, but is so pretty I had to let you all see it). I tried these items on with other items included in the sale and am sharing the try-on session here in this post.

First, I wanted to mention if anything is not available in your size or is showing “sold out”, keep checking back because in past anniversary sales, I have seen Nordstrom restock items. It is not guaranteed for every item, but they will restock some items either by replenishing stock or restocking customer returns.
For size reference, my height is 5’9″ and I weigh 160 lbs. For tops, I typically wear a size Medium (10) or Large (12), depending on the brand and fit of the top (slim fit I usually wear a Large). For bottoms, my normal size is a 10 OR a 30 or 31 waist, a 10 inch high rise fits my waist best and a 28 inch inseam falls at my ankle. My shoe size is 9 medium.
I have been wearing Wit & Wisdom Jeans for several years and LOVE them! Many of you have told me you love wearing them too! Wit & Wisdom jeans are also Size Inclusive, so they offer jeans in regular, plus and petite sizes!

Let’s look at the first pair of jeans I tried on, along with this top. My cat, Barty, wanted to be in the photos, so you’ll see him laying in the chair in the background!
The first pair of jeans I am featuring are these Wit & Wisdom Jeggings in “dark navy” (size 10) Regular price $64.00, Anniversary Sale price $43.99. These skinny jeans actually feel great on your legs! I love the slimming fit!
This Wit & Wisdom Smocked Elbow Sleeve Blouse in the “blush/skyway multi” color (size Medium). You can wear this top with jeans, like I styled it, or you can wear it with chino pants, wear it with dress pants or a skirt for work. This top comes in 3 other colors!

Steve Madden Mules (true to size, 9) – You may notice the gold links on the mules I’m wearing look different from the ones in the sale. These mules were in last year’s sale, but are the same sand color and same style. This year’s style includes muted color links on top of the shoes instead of the gold links. I loved wearing these last year, as they are very comfy and will be wearing them again this year!
Coach Pebble Leather Shoulder Bag in “taupe” – This was THE bag I wanted in the sale and I absolutly LOVE it! This bag is a best seller and it also comes in black and a chambray blue. I was torn between the taupe and black, but I the taupe will go with more of my outfits. I’m guessing this is a special edition made for the Nordstrom sale, because I don’t see this style on Coach’s website or the Coach outlet site, which makes it unique!

Next, I tried on these Wit & Wisdom ‘Ab’Solution Mid Rise Straight Leg Jeans (size 10) – The inseam on these jeans were a little long on me so I roll them up, BUT I plan on cutting these ankle length so they will have a raw hem look! If you are a TALL woman, these will look great on you! These jeans are SUPER comfortable and I love the light thread stitching, which gives a nice detail on these jeans.
Treasure & Bond V-Neck Sweater in “brown shiitake heather” (true to size, Medium) – OMG, I LOVE this sweater! The color, style, texture and neckline, hem and sleeve details. It also comes in black and a lovely deep red spice color.
Franco Sarto Nemi Bootie in “saddle” (true to size 9) – I bought these exact booties last year and was glad to see them included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! They have a low heel and I love wearing these booties and can walk in them all day with no problems. I have the saddle color, but they also come in other colors too. I highly recommend these boots!

Wit & Wisdom Ab-Solution High Waist Itty Bitty Bootcut Jeans (size 10) – This is my first time trying this style of jeans and OH MY GOSH, these are amazing! The “Itty Bitty Bootcut” style features a slim-cut leg, then flares out just enough at the hem to drape over your shoes, creating an elongating silhouette on your body! Madewell Lyle Rib Henley Sweater in “heather fog” (true to size, Medium) – This was one of the sweaters I was most excited to order! I love the vertical ribbing texture and the large buttons below v-neck neckline. I can’t wait to wear this sweater this Fall and Winter! It comes in other colors too, including heather saddle color. I chose the heather fog color since it will go with so many bottoms in my closet and I love the neutral color.
